Does my weight loss plan work?
I started a "weight diary" on August 29, 2019. I wanted to lose a few pounds, and test my method precisely. Here's what happened
On Wednesday, I weighed 157.6 pounds. I am 5'10". Yes, I am not overweight. Because my ongoing simple easy eating plan works! I still wanted to lose a few pounds - and document my method in doing so.
The past week I had been eating some "extra" calories, i.e. "naughty food". Carrot cake, a big juicy cheeseburger and a bag of potato chips. I stopped eating those things that day. No, I did not get all upset or feel deprived. I knew I could cheat a bit if I wanted to. I didn't want to. I cut out the bad high calorie extra food. I stuck to my eating plan.
4 days later I was 3 pounds lighter.
By the 7th day, I had lost 4 pounds. 4 pounds in 1 week. Just by sticking to my simple weight loss plan. I was not hungry. I was not deprived. I was happy. YES!
And now, I want to stabilize that weight. And maybe have some carrot cake. A SMALL piece of carrot cake.
And now that I lost the weight I wanted to lose, I want to stay in a weight range of 4-5 pounds either way. A small "yo-yo weight variance". Lose a few, gain a few. Controlled with my eating method. I am confident that I will be able to do so. I am confident that I can control my weight. AND have some goodies too!
Does my eating method work? I lost 4 pounds in 7 days. The equivalent of 16 pounds in a month. 200 pounds in a year. I lost 4 pounds in one week. Almost without trying. Was it simple? Yes. Was it easy? Yes. Am I happy? Very.
